WHAT'S MINE IS YOURS: FINAL INSTRUCTIONS
After the main play test session, I had managed to gather criticism on the board game. However, one of the primary issues highlighted was that the instructions had a detrimental effect on the players - they couldn't understand them, some rules were not included on the sheet, and the instructions where boring to look at. Taking into account the aforementioned, I refined and developed the instructions to answer these criticisms and in doing so, I believe the instructions are not only clear and well presented, but more effective. This is a result of colour, imagery and typography - three design aspects the players will understand and in doing so, will find playing the game much easier of a task.
Now that the instructions have been refined, this only left the board game to be completed. Using the now refined instructions as a foundation, I could rebuild the board game from scratch. Hopefully, the success of the new instructions will translatepositively to the new board game. If this is the case, I shall have succeeded in this assignment.
