IT'S DA BOMB: MATH BOMB (INSTRUCTIONS)

“A bomb has already detonated, but it was just a dummy. The main bomb is still somewhere within the aftermath of the last explosion. You are a bomb disposal expert. You are tasked with defusing the bomb with one problem; the terrorists have devised a clever mathematical bomb. Using the numbers provided, defuse the bomb before the time runs out.”

GOALS
  • Solve the four mathematical puzzles to gain all four digits to the deactivation code.
  • Organise the final digits into the actual deactivation code to defuse the bomb.

RULES
  • 2 Players. One completes puzzle and one holds answers, handles clues and holds combination card.
  • Players cannot look at answer until they have made a guess at the calculation.
  • If a player asks for a clue, they lose 20 seconds of the timer.
  • If the time runs out, the players lose.

INSTRUCTIONS
  • Each main number has four related numbers and an answer card. These are numbered.
  • Using the four numbers provided, calculate the main number using either the “x”, “-“or “+” symbols.
  • Player can ask for clues if they struggle.
  • Once players solve a calculation, they can turn over 1 digit card.
  • Once players solve a calculation, the cards must be replaced with the next set of card.
  • Once all digits are revealed, one player must take the final combination card. The other player must guess it.
  • When a final combination digit is in the right place, the card holder can inform the player.
